The Virginia State Council of Machinists is the political arm of the IAM in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Council works on behalf of all working families through involvement in the political process.
We do this in cooperation with the Virginia Central Labor Councils, the Virginia AFL-CIO, other IAM Local and District Lodges, The Machinists Non-Partisan Political League, the IAM Southern Territory and the IAM Transportation Department.
